Come explore our local seaside grocer; filled with gourmet imported goods from around the world and fresh local ingredients. Nestled right downtown Chester village The Kiwi Pantry is run by the infamous Kiwi Café providing gourmet and local ingredients for the community. With a variety of products including imported oils and spices to local meats dairy and greens, you can find all you need to create a unique and truly gourmet meal.

The selection of producers and specialty suppliers is curated by Lynda Flinn the owner of the Kiwi Café right around the corner. Employing the local village to help run the shop and help provide gourmet options for the growing South Shore community. With a friendly and welcoming atmosphere you are sure to find what you need, and little something more, at our seaside Pantry.

Maria’s Pantry

A beautiful new family restaurant downtown Dartmouth, NS serves their guest the most delicious and fresh homemade pasta. Producing all their items locally, Maria’s Pantry now jars their delicious sauces for you to use on your own pasta, pizza, or culinary creation!

Kiwi-Made

Feeling like a quick dinner or crunched for time? Take-home-ready meals prepared by the Kiwi Café are perfect for any occasion. With a variety of entrees, soups, and baked goods available fresh from the famous Kiwi Café located just around the corner.

Oulton’s Meats

Our mission is to use sustainable agricultural and environmental practices and to be exceptional caretakers of livestock in order to support the future generation and to provide a quality meat product We are proud to be strong supporters of the value chain in our rural community and we aim to promote local agriculture in NS. We grow free-range chickens and turkeys, Hereford cattle, sheep, goats, horses, wild boar, deer, elk, yak, emu, llamas, and a variety of other poultry and waterfowl including ducks, geese, swans, peacocks, and pheasants.

Halifax Greens

Our indoor farm grows premium quality, pesticide-free vegetables, and herbs in downtown Halifax. Farming indoors, we maintain optimal conditions for plant growth that produce delicious, nutrient-dense leafy greens, herbs, and tomatoes. Our focus is freshness.

Afishionado

We are community-based fishers and aquaculturists – dedicated to bringing low-impact fishing traditions back to the plates of consumers. We source locally as much as possible and follow Ocean Wise, a classification that ensures responsibility to a fishery’s abundance and catches method.

Osprey’s Roost Meats

From outside canning to a small retail store in Halifax Osprey’s Roost, is a local, butcher and grocer providing sustainably raised meats, vegetables, dairy products, and more! Formerly Getaway Farm Butcher Shop. A variety of sustainably raised meats including beef, pork, and poultry are available. With new ownership, and passion this farm is growing quickly!

Rancher-Cheese

On our farm overlooking the beautiful Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, we milk 100+ purebred Saanen dairy goats. We use the milk to make cheese, yogurt, kefir, and bottled pasteurized goat's milk. We have been making cheese for 39 years and are always improving our products.

Premium homemade ice cream using natural and quality ingredients creating traditional and original flavours. Lisa has mastered traditional and original flavour profiles and has created a product that has been carefully and lovingly made in small batches using only natural, quality, and where available, local ingredients.

Soil Mates Farms

Soil Mates Farm is a small vegetable farm in Farmington, Nova Scotia run by Mykal Koloff and Marena Thomson. We are first-generation farmers who are passionate about feeding ourselves, our community, and our soil. Our farm produces a variety of fresh vegetables and herbs sold on the beautiful South Shore of Nova Scotia. You can find us weekly at the Lunenburg Farmers' Market. As well our produce is featured at several restaurants on the South Shore including Shore Lunch, and Lincoln Street Food & Mateus Bistro.
